Southwest Brooklyn: Evaluating Investment Alternatives
The Southwest Brooklyn study was developed by AECOM New York City to present a framework for discussion and evaluation of infrastructure investment alternatives, using Southwest Brooklyn as a case study. We developed the evaluation tool using indicators for climate change and sea level rise impacts; challenges of mobility, transportation, and connectivity to create and maintain neighborhoods; and, a production of a housing market to accommodate residents and livelihoods as part of this new economy. The study examines these issues through guiding principles of growth, equity, resiliency and sustainability.
